The council of K. Maafushi has announced that they are planning to open a floating waterpark in the island just in time for Eid-Al-Adha.
This floating waterpark will be open for 8 hours starting from 8 in the morning for the first 3 days. Lifeguards will also be available throughout for safety measures in this area that is open to people of all ages.
Moreover, the council president Hassan Salah stated that the waterpark, which is to be located near the children’s park, was sponsored by Dhonmanik Skyview Restaurant.
As Maafushi is the number one island for local tourism along with booming watersports businesses, the council is expecting over 8,000 visitors to the island during this Eid.
